What is sideloading on a FireStick — is it safe?
Sideloading just means installing an app from a source other than the Amazon Appstore — exactly how you would install a free app on Android. Smarters Pro is not currently in the FireStick appstore (Amazon classes it as a third-party IPTV player), so you sideload it via the free Downloader app. The Smarters Pro APK we point you at is the official build from Whmcssmarters.com — same APK Smarters direct customers use. How long does sideloading IPTV Smarters Pro on FireStick take?
Three minutes start to finish. (1) Enable Developer Options + Apps from Unknown Sources, (2) install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore, (3) enter the 6-digit code we send you, the APK downloads + installs itself. Open Smarters, paste Xtream Codes — watching.
Why use Downloader instead of installing the APK from a web browser?

My FireStick says "Developer Options" is hidden — what do I do?

A "You are now a developer" toast appears. Back out, Developer Options is now visible. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources for Downloader.
Will sideloading Smarters Pro void my Amazon warranty?
No. Amazon explicitly supports sideloading via Developer Options — they put the option there. Your FireStick warranty remains intact. You can disable sideloading and remove sideloaded apps anytime via Settings.
What if I just want to install Smarters from the Amazon Appstore — is that possible?
Smarters Pro is not currently in the FireStick appstore (it gets in and out). But you can install "IPTV Smarters Player" (the older official version) directly from the Appstore — same login flow, same Xtream Codes API, same functionality for 95% of users. Sideloading gives you the very latest version + faster updates.

Do you sell any of these player apps?

Legality and ISP visibility on FireStick
Is sideloading IPTV on the FireStick legal in the UK? The honest answers.
Is sideloading IPTV on a FireStick legal in the UK?
Sideloading the player app itself is legal — Amazon explicitly allows third-party APKs through Developer Options. That is what the Developer Options toggle is there for. What matters legally is the content of the m3u / Xtream Codes you load into the player. Viewlix is an IPTV middleware service providing credentials; the end-user is responsible for confirming the service is permitted in their region.
Will Amazon block or "brick" my FireStick for installing IPTV Smarters?
No. Amazon does not actively police what apps you sideload via Developer Options. There are millions of FireSticks running Smarters Pro / TiviMate / Kodi without issue. Amazon's focus is on Prime Video sales, not IPTV-app policing.
Will my UK ISP (BT, Sky, Virgin) see what I watch via my FireStick?
Your ISP can see that your FireStick is connected to a streaming server, but the content of the stream is encrypted in transit — exactly the same way Netflix, YouTube and BBC iPlayer traffic is encrypted on Fire TV. UK ISPs do not block IPTV-app traffic as policy.
Do I need a VPN on my FireStick to use Viewlix?
No. The subscription works on every UK broadband provider on a stock FireStick without a VPN. Some customers prefer one for general privacy; the service works either way. We do NOT require a VPN, and you should be wary of any IPTV provider that does.
